Carol B. Allen writes young adult fantasy and science fiction that blend high stakes adventure, climate themes, and strong girls in STEM. An international award-winning creative professional and University of Michigan honors graduate, she has held leadership roles in organizations that strengthen communities across the New York tri-state area.

Carol actively champions opportunities for young women in science, technology, engineering, and math. She serves on the Advisory Committee for Advancing Women in Science and Medicine (AWSM) at Northwell Health’s Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research and has supported Girl Scouts STEM initiatives.

She lives in Westchester County, New York, where she divides her time between city and country life, enjoying both the cultural energy of Manhattan and the quiet of the Northeast woodlands.
