Carmen Beasley is the author and founder of SIMPLY BIBLE, a series of studies and a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to helping others know and enjoy God directly through the Bible.

She has discovered that most people turn to “experts” to explain God and the Bible. On our own, we feel inept- sometimes intimidated- to connect directly with God through His Word. Pile on stress and the busyness of life, we avoid reading the Bible altogether. Then we live with a vague sense that something is missing.

Is there something more?

There is.

Knowing and enjoying God Himself through the Bible.

When we learn to be curious, ask our own questions and honestly connect with God face-to-face through the Bible, we come alive. Through the Bible, God reveals who He is. He also reminds us that we are lovable, valuable, forgivable, changeable and never alone. We find renewed purpose and hope.

Simply Bible uses a tried and true method of inductive study, simplifies the process, and guides the reader to deeply experience God.

An old Chinese proverb says,

“Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.”

This proverb embodies Carmen’s mission and the unique benefit of Simply Bible. Carmen believes everyone deserves a simple and effective way to personally know and enjoy God through the Bible. She continues to write, teach, speak and train up leaders to effectively inspire others.

Prior to writing SIMPLY BIBLE, Carmen lived in Shanghai, China, learning Mandarin, sipping tea, and serving among an international community of women. Over her thirty years in ministry, Carmen has guided women from North America, Africa, Asia, and Europe in their study of the Bible.

She and her husband have enjoyed boundless adventures together, including raising their four children. She attended graduate school alongside her two eldest children, earning a Master’s degree in Theological Studies from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.

In her day-to-day, Carmen relishes quiet time with Jesus, studying, walking, and (of course) drinking tea. She also enjoys cycling with her hubby and family “staycations" at her home in Ohio.
