John W. Reynolds, Th.D (born 1956) is the pastor of Faith Baptist Church in Fincastle, Virginia. He has served there for the past sixteen years. His passion for expository preaching continues to this day. He has been married to his wife Vicky for forty-four years and they have three grown children. After completing high school in 1974 John joined the U.S. Army and served three years in the 20th Engineer Brigade at Fort Bragg, NC. Upon returning to Virginia John attended Piedmont International University and continued his studies at Trinity College of the Bible and Theological Seminary in Evansville, IN. and further received his post graduate degrees from Christian Bible College in Rocky Mount, NC. John was raised on his father's dairy farm with his brother and three sisters. In high school he met his life long partner and best friend Vicky. After more than two decades of secular employment his call of pastoring a local church came to pass where he and his wife Vicky serve today. John's concern over the drift from expository teaching to entertainment oriented churches in America prompted him to write his first book, A Nation Under God - America's Future in Light of God's Hand Upon Ancient Israel.
