Torie Cooper

Torie Cooper was born in California but grew up in a small town outside the Royal National Park on Australia's eastern coast. Her poetry has been published in Live Encounters Poetry & Writing, The Stray Branch, The Pangolin Review, and The Avocet. She has also written nature and conservation articles for Examiner.com and AZ Golf Alive.

Torie's many interests include nature, science, palliative care, history, art, and music. She enjoys activities in the great outdoors as well as browsing museums.

Torie has a Master's degree in Wildlife Management from Macquarie University in Sydney. She is currently writing a book about international Animal Behaviorist Hilda Tresz. Torie believes in the power of books to connect, heal, and teach.
