Jeanette K Morris

Sisters, Jeanette K. (Elkins) Morris and Jamie S. (Elkins)Taylor were born and raised in Ohio. They have always had a close bond growing up. Jeanette began drawing at the age of 6. Art has always been a passion of hers. Jamie Taylor is a world known doll and bear artist. A few years ago, Jamie sewed up a baby gargoyle and asked Jeanette, "What does one do with a baby gargoyle?" To which Jeanette replied, "You write a story about it." And so they did. These sisters wrote three stories to be exact. The stories were created because they felt people have become callous and hateful to each other on social media, but most importantly, lost sight of important things in life. Virtues like generosity, kindness, and humility are becoming lost in our society. Their goal is to make people feel good inside, and escape to another world where society cares about each other. Gargoyles are humanitarians, (they laughingly refer to as gargatarians in the story), where they help humans not for personal gain, but for emotional gain. There are 25 colonies under the United States, and the sisters plan on writing about all of them.
