I am a professor at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee Zilber School of Public Health and a clinical psychologist specializing in adolescent development and parenting from a public health perspective.
I teach courses in adolescent health and development, public health and mental health, and community engaged research. I also lead trainings and workshops on The Young Parenthood Program which is a co-parenting counseling program for young mothers and fathers.
Currently, I am advocating for father inclusive prenatal care because I believe that many fathers need help getting ready for the psychological and interpersonal challenges of parenthood and there is no better time to get help than during their partner's pregnancy.
