Roger Pua

Born and raised in Singapore, Roger Pua left home at age 29 and lived several years in China, France and the UK before returning home. He is now more or less settled in Singapore with his husband.

While pursuing a corporate career over more than twenty years at companies including LinkedIn and Citi, he still harbours lingering ambitions of becoming a professional ballet dancer and tennis player someday, even though the odds are increasingly stacked against him.

"Sundays are for mummy" is his first literary work. It is inspired by his mother’s struggle with dementia and his realisation that memories and hopes are the things that matter most. He hopes to continue producing non-fiction that raises awareness about pressing social issues.
