Sid Gateaux

Siddhartha Ulysses Gateaux, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota (April 1st, 1969) to French/American parents. A lifelong resident of South Minneapolis: Historian, Philosopher and Theologian educated in the Benedictine tradition, master of Buddhism in the Zen-Sufi practice. Sid Gateaux also writes under the name Big Sugar Buddha: serving as Buddha at Large, writing poetry, teaching history of religion and providing spiritual direction to students in a private setting. Sid Gateaux is co-founder of the Zen Syndicate and the People's History Project.
