Reinhard Knapp

After completing a degree in mechanical engineering at the TU Berlin and then working as a Dipl.- Engineer in a federal agency, my interest was also in painting. Between 1977 and 1988 works were created that in individual cases also reached the public eye. Always fascinated by the works of Franz Kafka and Dino Buzzati, I began to put little stories on paper myself in 2015. The joy of this creative work is based also and predominantly on the development of ideas and solutions that is not dissimilar to the engineering work - the inventing. Combined with dreamy and surreal moments, but also with self-irony and humor, the book “20 Short Stories” was first created in December 2019. It is uncertain whether others will follow.
