Caitlin Monachino

Hi there. My name is Caitlin and I love to color—so much so that I started making my own coloring books! Originally from Rochester, NY, I grew up drawing with my grandfather who worked as a caricature artist at one of our local newspapers, and crafting with my grandmother who owned a ceramic shop in town. Needless to say, *making* is in my DNA—from painting murals and decorating cookies (IG: @cm.cookies) to illustrating coloring books!

My obsession with making has led me to a career where I can not only admire other makers, but also be surrounded by those who share an appreciation for it. I work full-time as the Curatorial and Publications Manager at The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum in Ridgefield, CT. At The Aldrich, I have been fortunate enough to work on several exhibitions and their accompanying catalogues, including those on artists Harmony Hammond, Frank Stella, and Yvette Mayorga.
