Jeffrey Stevenson

Jeffrey spends a lot of time creating worlds and crafting witty dialog, so doesn’t want to think about what his biography should say. If you’re interested in learning more about him, he has all the degrees (University of Arizona) and is respected as a writer due to his various accomplishments such as journal publications, magazine articles and web-series. But that’s all very boring. He’s particularly fond of novels by George Saunders and C.S. Lewis, and is always on the lookout for a film that’s not a reboot or sequel (Fringe, according to him, is top notch). Also, he thinks his wife is gorgeous and kids are hilarious.

His latest book, To The Victor, goes a little something like this:

"After millennia of suffering, humankind has finally stabilized into a peaceful society. War has been replaced by yearly gladiatorial contests which decide the fate of the nations on earth. For the fighters of these battles, the rules are simple. Win, and the borders of your nation grow. Lose and watch everything you hold dear be destroyed.

For Trajan, the most dominant fighter in history, these are perfect odds. But, while preparing for his next battle, he’s confronted with the revelation that his life’s work may have been in service to a power hungry tyrant. With the world on the brink of the first truewar in centuries, he has two choices. Remain loyal to his king and cause an innocent nation to fall, or expose him for a fraud and watch the world crumble once again into chaos."
