Previously, Joshua was waylaid in business and philanthropy, where despite his dislike of convention and his passion for asking uncomfortable questions, he became respected, well connected, and highly sought after. Joshua lives in San Francisco with his two daughters who provide endless fodder for looking askance at the things he still takes for granted.
