Travis Scott Luther

Travis Scott Luther is a sociologist, award-winning entrepreneur, author, and speaker based in Denver, Colorado. He received his Master’s Degree in Sociology from the University of Colorado Denver, where his research focused on community, identity, human behavior, and the ways people pursue meaning and belonging throughout life.

Luther is the author of The Last Exit: Lessons in Business and Life from the Terminally Ill, a book exploring the regrets, wisdom, and emotional insights of people facing the end of life. He is also the author of The Fun Side of the Wall, which grew out of his graduate research on American retirees and expatriate communities living in Mexico.

In addition to his books, Luther created the Write of Passage Journals, a guided journal series designed to help people navigate life transitions, preserve stories, strengthen relationships, and build deeper community through shared reflection.

As an entrepreneur, Luther has founded and led multiple companies in the marketing, software, and luxury consumer products industries. His work has earned multiple national marketing and media awards. He is also a former Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship at MSU Denver. He is an active member and former Colorado Chapter President of Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO).

Through his writing, speaking, and research, Luther explores the intersection of ambition, identity, community, mortality, and what it truly means to live well.
