As I found myself nearly drowning in the "cultural waves" that flooded the decade of the 70s, the Lord extended His hand to me just one month shy of my 21st birthday on October 22, 1980. Quickly I enjoyed the fellowship of a loving church and soon found myself going to Bible College, for which I am extremely grateful for having had attended.
Looking back over these 40 years of my Christian experience, Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose,” is so true and real. For after swallowing a huge gulp of what the world had to offer -the bitter; and what some might consider sweet- I've learned the importance of not leaning upon my own understanding as it is too often contaminated by fear, doubt and even guilt on occasion.
Now, at age 61, I have thoroughly enjoyed my 35 years of marriage to Carol, my Soulmate, and raising our four children together. My hope is that you will come to cherish Imagine That as you see yourself within its pages, gaining a clearer understanding of the mental roadblocks that often hinder us from seeing the Lord's will for our lives.
