Monica Bourgeau

Monica Bourgeau is an entrepreneur, coach, consultant, speaker, and healthcare executive who studies and leads personal and organizational change.

For the past two decades, she has led healthcare transformation initiatives across the U.S. with a focus on rural health. She has been the Executive Director & COO for national healthcare non-profits, and has also worked for a health insurance company/third party administrator (TPA). She led the nation’s first Rural Medicine Hackathon and Hacking Medicaid events with teams from MIT’s Hacking Medicine Program.

Monica is a member of several non-profit boards. She’s also a frequent guest speaker on the topics of change leadership and business transformation. She has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Colorado State University, a Master’s degree in Management with an emphasis on Organizational Leadership from Warner Pacific University, and has completed an MBA Foundations program from the University of Montana.

Monica believes we each have a duty to help leave the world a little better than we found it. She is passionate about innovation, leadership, spirituality, animals and animal rescue, and the environment, and is a member of the Portland chapter of Conscious Capitalism.

Monica grew up in rural Western Montana and still visits there often. She lives with her family and their two rescue dogs in beautiful Portland, Oregon.
