And her Reader's concur.

Reader 5 star Amazon Review for her book Nine Lives Mourned: A Story About Overcoming Multiple Loss:

"Reading this novel brought me back to the times in my life where I had multiple loss of family members and loved ones over a short period of time. My first major loss was my sister when I was very young. Since then my, grandparents, parents, brother, aunts, uncles, cousin and childhood friends have passed. I have had loss of important relationships in my life. I found reading this book helped me get a greater perspective on how we cope grieve and move on from the losses in our lives. It shows the inner strength that we all have if we can just muster it up to put one foot in front of the other. Sometimes you just need to buy yourself time to heal. The quote from the novel "Life is precious and not forever" resonates within me. The author reveals in the final chapter, "Moving Forward: Where I am Today" how you can come out the other side of great loss in our lives. A very moving Novel and extremely well written."

Other reader reviews:

Life can be challenging, and sometimes overshadowed with what feels like roadblocks, setbacks, and confusing twists and turns, but you don’t have to stay stuck. You can get through it. Cheryl is on a mission to help you to stay inspired, believing there are always things we can do to feel better and to move forward. If you muster up the courage and make the choice to face the tough stuff, you can create the changes you want to see.

Cheryl doesn’t just write about it, she’s experienced many adversities too, which she candidly and openheartedly shares in her books, and she's especially vulnerable in The Little Black Book for Getting Unstuck (including everything from financial to relationships), and Nine Lives Mourned. But she doesn’t let it define her.

Top on her list of life’s treasures are family, friends, long walks with her dog Max in nature, yoga, meditation, learning and whatever treasures life brings. And she puts the methods in her books into practice in her life every day (because they work!), and she's excited to share it all with you!
