Marsha Lichtenstein PhD

Marsha Lichtenstein is a sociologist, conflict resolution professional and communications coach. What began in 2010 in her living room as informal classes on negotiation with small groups of women ripened into purposefully designed workshops, classes and personalized coaching. Today, Marsha helps women find and use their voices to speak up for what they need and want.

Her mission is to support women to be their own best self-advocates, while respecting their deeply rooted needs to stay connected with others in healthy and respectful ways. In 2015, her blog was awarded second place in the Excellence in Communications competition sponsored by the New Mexico Women’s Press Association.

Marsha earned a doctorate in sociology from Rutgers University and a graduate certificate from the Conflict Resolution Graduate Program at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. She has worked as a professional mediator and taught classes and workshops in conflict resolution since 1994. From 2010 until now, her primary work is helping women speak up with authority and grace through her workshops, coaching, and writing.
