Dr. Jill Stansbury

Dr Jillian Stansbury is an award-winning physician who has practiced at Battle Ground Healing Arts in Battle Ground, WA for over 30 years specializing in natural medical therapies for chronic disease, women's health, endocrine disorders, and mental health. She also runs the affiliated BG Healing Arts Apothecary on Main St which fills the natural medicine prescriptions for her patients and other Clark County, Washington medical practitioners. She is the former Chair of the Botanical Medicine department at NUNM in Portland, OR and remains on the faculty. Her 5 volume textbook series, Herbal Formularies for Health Professionals won an award in 2022 from the American Botanical Council. Dr Stansbury has traveled extensively to study ethnobotany and medicinal plants of the world with a particular focus on 4 tribes of the Peruvian Amazon, and she leads ethnobotany field courses in Peru.
