Holly Provan was born and raised in Washington state, and grew up in a small cabin in the forest. She loved running among the trees and the solitude of the woods as a child. She grew up in a chaotic environment that suffered from mental health dysfunction. She now lives in the Los Angeles area and adores being in a city full of life, diversity, and culture for the past 19 years.
Holly is a registered nurse and mom to two amazing teens. She is an active member of her community and volunteers with the PTA, Red Cross, and LGBTQIA+ youth. While she always enjoyed writing (considering for a time a career in journalism), her true passion was helping and caring for people. She adores being a nurse and is expanding her education in the mental health field.
Holly spends much of her free time exploring the outdoors with her partner, having adventures with her family, training with her running group, and being a passionate advocate for mental health. She will often joke that she is actually a grandma, as she loves to bake, garden, and crochet with a cat in her lap.
