Patrik Martinet

I grew up in the southwest and presently live in Idaho. Earlier in life, I almost exclusively read fantasy novels but have since broadened my horizon and enjoy many genres, both fiction and nonfiction. I've wanted to write a book for a long time but never really had any ideas. Then, one random day, when I least expected it, I had an inkling and started writing. In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with my family and entertaining my exuberant dog Pearl (or the Black Pearl when she is naughty, and yes, she is black). I also enjoy a good beer. I occasionally brew it as well, but I'm not nearly as good as Yolken.
