Born in Mumbles on the beautiful Gower Coast in Wales, Noel has worn many hats throughout his working life: car cleaner, car parts salesman and even a self employed love spoon maker. His love of animals drove him to become a zookeeper and later a pet shop owner (which he hated). His experiences with animals lead him to publish a book on lizard husbandry; unfortunately, this did not earn enough money for him to retire on.
He has been employed as a college lecturer in animal sciences and conservation for over 15 years passing on his passion for animal welfare and conservation to the next generation.
As a hobby Noel started making scented remedy candles writing short whimsical stories relating to each scent which the customers loved. His family, tired of his tall tales and warped sense of humour, encouraged him (read as nagged) to write a story book. A tale of wizards’ dragons and fracking is all their fault.
