Garrett Drew Ellis

Writing and finding himself in the field of memoir, death, and grief for as long as he can remember, Garrett Drew Ellis established himself as a professional writer in 2015 when he founded LifeWrite Publications & Media and as an End of Life Doula in 2019. That same year, Garrett founded Beyond Morning, offering end of life doula and storytelling services after receiving training from INELDA (The International End of Life Doula Association).

Garrett studied English at Central CT State University and has been a ghostwriter and author for over 10 years, as well as a hospice volunteer. Also having worked in publishing project management, originally from Connecticut, he and his wife have four children and now call Lancaster County, Pennsylvania home.

He enjoys writing, reading, art tours and epic fantasy stories, ie. Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and the Chronicles of Narnia. While currently trained to provide doula services through INELDA, Garrett is also in the process of pursuing full certification.
