Rob Reed

Rob Reed graduated from Michigan State University with a BA in Journalism and has worked as a emergency room clerk, newspaper reporter, radio producer, magazine staff writer, and freelance writer and editor. He is also a firearms instructor, collector of vintage military weapons, and all around “projectile launcher enthusiast.” He writes about the history and use of firearms for a variety of publications and websites and has acted as a weapons consultant for other authors.

Rob writes across multiple genres including science fiction, fantasy, mysteries and thrillers. His fiction is featured in national best-selling anthologies. He also publishes under his Cold Iron Press imprint.

He lives with his wife, Marie, in the Metro Detroit area with their three cats and their untenably large book collection. Rob inherited his love of books from his parents, both voracious readers, and reads anything and everything he can get his hands on.
