Marcus Buckley

Marcus Buckley has been a pastor and police chaplain in Florida and South Carolina for over 25 years. He grew up in Ormond Beach, FL, a beautiful beach town known as "The Birthplace of Speed" just north of Daytona. He is a graduate of Stetson University and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and earned his doctorate from North Greenville University in South Carolina. Buckley was recruited by the FBI and received his conditional appointment, but ultimately felt this was not the road for him. When that door closed, some friends suggested he write a book about what might have been. In the course of writing the book, Buckley had the honor of speaking with a number of people in the various fields of federal law enforcement, the military, and the Intelligence Community. He has visited the headquarters of several government agencies in the process of his research, including the CIA and Secret Service. "Labor of Fools" is the second book in a series of novels featuring FBI Special Agent Thomas. Hawkins Buckley has a great passion for automobiles, particularly muscle cars. He lives in Florida with his wife, three children, and three dogs.
