Alison Ford

Alison Ford was born in Canada but currently lives in the UK, in a small but vibrant coastal village that is "rich in character, and accepting of its characters!".

She has always been fascinated with air travel and planes and realized her dream of becoming a flight attendant while living in Toronto in her earlier life. There was "no better way" to go to work, she says, and those memories of ending up in far-flung places, especially when seen for the first time -- are truly the best ones. "We are at our most alive in new places, with all our senses heightened", she believes, and she strives to bring that experience to the reader in her own writing.

She is a proud ‘fur-mom’ to two very different – but equally demanding cats, Cali and Nina, who do their daily best to distract her from her writing (often succeeding!).

Her debut publication, the 5-short-book series "New England Skies", was released in 2020. Her second series “Dark Anthem” followed in mid-2021, and her third mystery series with a time-travel twist, “Night Moves” is due for release in early 2022.
