John Haskett

I have been a freelance writer for much of my life. When younger I specialized in business, finance, and investment subjects, as those had been favorites during my college years. I found that there was considerable intertest in these topics, especially when jargon and obscure theories were eliminated. I enjoyed "simplifying" these sujects and fortunately many magazine readers agreed with that approach.

More recently I have become a book writer, and now have 7 novels published. Some are good old mysteries, with liberal dashes of other-sex activities included to broaden the novel's appeal. I have also written 2 political novels--including one with my older son Michael--and a religious satire, The God Franchise, which faiths' believers hurl insults at.

Not mechanically inclined, I spend too much daily time cursing my computer, while at the same time thanking the universe for doing away with typewriters and smeary copy paper.

A favorite hobby is traveling to new (for me) countries, and living there for at least 3-6 months, so I can get beyond the "2 week tourist" mistakes.

Now single, such traveling is relatively easy.

To all, both my readers and non-, I wish interesting lives.
