Matthew D. Cubeiro

Matthew D. Cubeiro serves as Special Counsel for Michel & Associates, P.C. His primary practice areas include firearms-related regulatory compliance, legislative analysis, firearms-related local ordinance issues, and general civil litigation.

In addition to practicing law, Mr. Cubeiro is dedicated to teaching the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for the safe and enjoyable use of firearms. He is certified by the National Rifle Association as an instructor in Home Firearm Safety, Metallic Cartridge Reloading, Pistol, Rifle, Refuse to Be A Victim, Personal Protection in the Home, and Personal Protection Outside the Home disciplines. He is also a certified Range Safety Officer, and routinely volunteers his time to teach both members of the public and law enforcement on California gun laws and the legal requirements for using a firearm in self-defense.

Mr. Cubeiro is a graduate of Western State University where he received his Juris Doctorate with Honors and Certificate in Criminal Law Studies. Before law school, he earned his Bachelor of Arts in business administration with honors from Chapman University.
