Phil Lowe

My name is Phil Lowe. Welcome to my first published book on Amazon. I have been writing for many years as a theatre reviewer and theatre promoter. This writing has been for a variety of journals, newspapers and websites and for my own website www.eastmidlandstheatre.com.

I also love to write comedy and being a big observer of life and people I decided to put fingers to keyboard and create this new humorous book The Total Joy of Travelling On Public Transport. It is based on my own eight years worth of experiences travelling on buses and trams around Nottinghamshire. This book is full of unique and funny travelling stories plus overheard comments all tinged with my sense of the absurd. They are also universal and you don't need to have lived in Nottingham to find them entertaining and very relatable.

And now I have written a new book called Supermarket Creatures all about life behind the counters at a major supermarket called Tesco. the reviews so far have called it 'Laugh Out Loud Funny' and brilliantly written.
