Evolve! Find your Moxie!
Unexpected midlife experiences inspired Dawn M. Fitzpatrick to write her debut novel, The Moxie. Middle age shouldn’t be a time of grieving for youth, instead, midlife should be a time of empowerment. Life experiences faced with good humor or in some cases, hysterics, can be a super power!
Dawn’s writing journey began in college while working on her BA in music. Dawn is a classically trained vocalist, who plays the acoustic guitar, ukulele, and fakes it on the piano. The written word and music notation, both tell a story. This is a creative process that starts with one idea or thought. Finding the story, that is the joy.
Dawn teaches music, is a certified personal trainer, and a collegiate first aid and CPR instructor. As an instructor, she finds that helping others attain their personal goals is rewarding. Dawn lives in Idaho, where outdoor activities are abundant. Cross country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking and paddle boarding are the family favorites. Not to be forgotten -“What the Fitz?” - the family band.
