I started out writing suspense novels but after so many books in that genre I felt that I needed a break, something else to write, and definitely another genre. I had been a science fiction fan ever since I learned to read and wrote short stories for my eyes only. But now I decided I would switch from writing suspense novels to writing science fiction novels. Most of the books I write now are in science fiction although occasionally I need a break from sci fi and go back to writing suspense. In between writing novels in these two genres, I still write short stories and some of them turn into novelettes and then turn into novellas.
