John Murnane

I am a molecular biologist with a PhD from UCLA. I have spent nearly fifty years of my life doing cancer research, the last forty of which were at UCSF, where I finally retired as Professor Emeritus. I spent many years teaching cancer biology to medical residents and graduate students. Now that I am retired, I have chosen to combine my passion for writing and teaching by writing novels to tell good stories and at the same time to pass on what I have learned during my career, both on a scientific and personal level.
