Welcome its good to see you here!
I was born in a War Memorial Hospital in Wales and grew up between Wales, Devon and Somerset.
As a young child I had a passion for writing short stories and as a teenager was an avid reader of Agatha Christie. Though I always intended to write one book at some point, a career as a writer and public speaker was never on the radar until events ten years ago meant rethinking my life.
My first book 'And She Danced' was published in 2019, a Biographical Fiction based on my extraordinary life story. It is the first book in the Trilogy 'A Little Girl's Journey,' and tells the story of 'Mia'. The book covers some of the less savoury life challenges such as sexual abuse, betrayal, racism, War and PTSD. From the beginning through to 1992.
'The Falklands Widow', followed in 2021 it is a personal Journey through Grief. A book suitable for anyone who has suffered & struggled with loss, eating disorders, addiction and so much more. It is a lot more than a story about War. Suitable for professionals, medical professionals and therapists too...
In November 2024 my third book ‘The Falklands Fallen’ was published by Pen & Sword Military. Written as a Roll of Honour, this unique book is written in alphabetical order with no favour to rank or service. The book took seven years to research.
Currently I have two ‘works in progress’ another Military History book and an inspirational book of another genre.
