Shirley B. Garrett

Dr. Shirley B. Garrett, Psy.D is an author, a retired psychologist, as well as a professional speaker and artist. When practicing, she worked in the areas of mental health and substance abuse. Her twenty-eight years of experience in these areas adds authenticity to each of her plots and characters. She is the author of the Charlie Stone Crime Thriller Series (DEADLY COMPULSION, DEADLY LESSONS, and DEADLY OBSESSIONS) and the Phoenix O’Leary Chick Lit Series (HOT FLASH DIVAS, HOT FLASH DESIRES, and HOT FLASH DECISIONS to be released in 2020). DEADLY LESSONS was a 2018 finalist for a Silver Falchion Award. Dr. Garrett has also authored a self–improvement book, STOP THE CRAZINESS: SIMPLE LIFE SOLUTIONS. She lives in Alabama with her husband, Bob, and her bibliocat, Pookie.
