James Blevins is an award-winning poet and journalist. He graduated from the College of Central Florida in 2017 at the age of 35. He first started sending out his poetry for publication in 2016 after a short story of his was included in the 2016 Scythe Prize, a book-length collection of short fiction and essays from college students.
He has had poetry published in Salt Hill Journal, Pretty Owl Poetry, Stoneboat Journal, Mud Season Review, AZURE, Alexandria Quarterly, concīs, THAT Literary Review, as well as many other literary journals across the country, both online and in print.
His first chapbook, What Nature Keeps Secret, was published by Bitterzoet Press in 2018. He also self-published a split-chapbook, Wait for Us, with poet Tyler Schultz in 2019, available to purchase now on Amazon in book form and as an eBook on Kindle.
