Troy Alfeo

About the Author

Troy Alfeo is a graduate of the School of Hard Knocks, having obtained his B.A. in how life can really suck eggs. He graduated summa cum laude and at one time, as he freely admits, he was so broke he “couldn’t even pay attention.” Eventually he established his own little publishing company in the summer 2019 and has acquired a couple of new authors that he is currently editing for distribution on Amazon.

No spring chicken himself, Troy Alfeo spent a long thirty-four years in the military and was eventually pushed into retirement in 2017, having obtained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He has spent many years abroad, both for his teaching profession and for the United States military on various deployments around the globe. He likes to joke that when he was first stationed in Germany, “there were two of them!” Most people don’t get the Cold War reference and look at him funny when he says this.

And when asked about his teaching career, he advises students to go straight for S.T.E.M degrees or pick an honorable trade and make a good living. If all else fails, he advises, you can always enlist in the military until you figure what the hell you’re going to do for the rest of your life.

When not teaching or editing manuscripts for publication, however, he spends another big chunk of his time selling Real Estate while he spends the other part of his time working on several other books that he has authored, to include his soon-to-be-released series of science fiction tomes about clones, asteroid mining, time travel and, of course, his magnum opus, an historical novel about the Late Roman Empire. And don’t forget. He continues to plan to add more volumes to his ever-popular line of concise, little self-help Angry Man How “NOT TO” series of guidebooks that pack a big wallop in a very few short pages!

He currently resides south of the Mason-Dixie line in the balmy Sunshine State where he lives his day-to-day life with his fiancé and soon-to-be stepson in a humble abode astride a beautiful lake teeming with wild birds.

Nor is the author as angry as he used to be. Although his three children from his marriage don’t quite believe that yet. Troy Alfeo is still working on that.
