Barbara Mahase Rodman

Barbara Mahase Rodman (1927-2019) was born in Trinidad. She graduated from McGill University in 1952 with a Bachelor of Arts degree, with majors in English, Spanish and Latin. She taught English, Spanish and Latin at St. Augustine Girls’ High School in Trinidad from 1952-1955. She met her husband, Hy Rodman, at McGill University. They had four children: including Kenneth, David (1959-1977), and Gail (married to Timothy), and two grandsons, David and Trevor. She is the author of Love Stories for All Centuries and was a frequent contributor to The Detroit News’ Sunday magazine.
