Wayne Brown

Wayne Brown is a retired member of the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry.

At the release of this book he is 66 years old, a husband of 46 years, father of two children and grandfather of four. Education is High school, five years apprenticeship training in the pipe trades and a lifetime of working with his hands as a craftsman.

Wayne has been told he is quite a teller of stories but has absolutely no experience as a book author, until now. What he does have is a story and once read where someone had said, “If you have a story to tell, tell it as best you can and hope it finds an audience.”

While writing One Flower in My Garden the author based some parts on real, personal memories of his early childhood. It will be left to the reader’s discretion to determine when reality ends and fiction begins.

The author is also a board member of a charity, The United Craftsmen Children’s Shoe Drive, and devotes much of his time to help less fortunate children have opportunity to shop for a new pair of shoes. A percentage of any proceeds raised from this book will go to help the charity.

An average man, Wayne enjoys fishing, sitting on his porch late in the evening while enjoying good Kentucky Bourbon and looking at all the projects he needs to be doing around his house but not really wanting to do them.

Wayne has read many articles about how the authors bio might be a determining factor as to whether someone read his book, or not, and that it should be impressive. He’d rather be honest and hope you read it with the knowledge he had no idea what the hell he was doing when he wrote it.

He had a story to tell and he told it the best he could.
