I was posted to Hong Kong from London in 1985. At the time I was working for a New York bank. After retiring from the banking industry in 2013 I followed my interest in military history. I started writing a blog on general military history but with a particular focus on WW2 in Hong Kong. My book "Battle for Hong Kong December 1941" was published by Amberley in July 2019. I conduct guided battlefield tours in Hong Kong.
