Thomas Bradley

Thomas Bradley started driving ride share on January 30, 2018. After spending 40 years in his other career, he decided to trying his hand in plumbing. After two years of that he’d had enough, besides that, business was slow. Since he still enjoys eating, he decided to give ride share a try. He had the car, and he had the time, so why not? In no time he realized that he was making more driving than working hard at plumbing, and at 58 years old, the sound of that was very appealing. As of the publication of this book, he has given over 6,200 rides, put 100,000 miles on his car, changed the oil numerous times, changed the tires twice, and been involved in three accidents (none his fault and twice with passengers in his car). Just like any job, there are times he does not want to go to work, but after he gets started it becomes fun.

In addition to driving ride share, Thomas is also a musician. He has played the piano since kindergarten and is primarily taught by ear, only having about three years formal lessons as a young boy. He is also self-taught on the bass guitar. At one point he had a recording studio in his home where he produced three CDs that he sold as he traveled across the country. Several years ago he took up photography and enjoys that art, as well.

Aside from that, he enjoys traveling the world. To date he has visited 39 of the United States and 13 countries, including Canada, Mexico, Bahamas, France, Belgium, Ukraine, Iraq, Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, Italy, China, and Philippines. His bucket list goal is all 50 states (Hawaii is done, Alaska is next) and several more countries.
