"Letters from Amy" follows the remarkable journey of a vivant, young mother who was told that she had only six months to live, however her faith and dynamic mind helped her persevere for over sixteen years.

Amy did not allow the many afflictions affecting her life stand in the way of living life to the fullest. Confined to a wheelchair and dependent on a respirator, Amy raised two young girls, taught school, was named "Teacher of the Year", carried the Olympic Torch, and wrote children's books using just her eyebrows. Amy had a positive influence on everyone she met, and she documented her life through hundreds of letters and journals that she painstakingly wrote.

Fearing that they may be lost, the author condensed her writings into book form as a gift to her children and extended family. Since then, the book has gained traction and has received a numerous recognitions including "The International Impact Book Award". All proceeds from book sales will go to one of Amy's favorite charities.

Amy's message to those facing life's hardships is to "never ever, ever, give up.

The author's other book "Straddling the Abyss" is featured regularly on the National Public Television series, "Songs at the Center," viewed in over 350 cities throughout the United States. The book is an award-winning finalist in the Business/Entrepreneurship category of the 2020 Best book Awards, sponsored by American Book Fest. The book documents the author's wild adventures through life, and how he channeled the many risk that he took into a series of successful business endeavors. The author subscribed to the principle that there is no such word as "failure". You either succeed or you learn, and as you follow the author through the chapters, he had a lot of learning to do.
