Benita Bensch

Benita Bensch and her family own and operate a mixed farm near Moonie in south west Queensland, Australia, where Benita spreads her time among her family, writing, community and managing their farm and businesses with her husband Adam.

Benita holds a Bachelor of Rural Science (1st Class Hons), a Graduate Diploma in Business Studies (Marketing and Management) and her professional experience encompasses beef cattle genetics and extension, business management, public relations, marketing, project management, events and coaching.

Before children, Benita ran a successful small business specialising in marketing communications, branding and later, coaching. She is an experienced writer and accomplished speaker, having presented at numerous regional, state and national events on the topics of marketing, branding, business and personal development. In 2014 Benita was named in the Top 100 Women in Australian Agribusiness.

She loves being a Mum to four boys, running, planning, breeding Charolais cattle, getting up before the sun does, cooking, being of service to other women, being at home and the smell of rain.

The Art of Trying is her first book.
