Brian O'Looney A.I.A. LEED-AP is a design architect, master planner, and a principal at Torti Gallas + Partners. He began his career at Cesar Pelli and Associates, now Pelli, Clarke, Pelli, and subsequently contributed to work at Weihe Design Partnership (WDG), as well as David Schwarz Architects before coming to Torti Gallas + Partners. At Torti Gallas, O'Looney and the firm use collaborative power to make places of enduring beauty based on principles of sustainable urbanism and community enrichment. O'Looney has provided the firm conceptual leadership, leading the design of buildings across the built spectrum - from an urban flagship grocer, to a train station, a ballpark, multiple mixed-use buildings, hotels, high-rise multi-family buildings, simple townhouses, stacked housing, and affordable housing - bringing the firm international recognition. O'Looney lectures on a range of topics related to livable communities and sustainable development. He is a graduate of Yale University and the School of Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
