Sven and Marlen, born from 1987, have been inseparable since their youth. Marlen, with her academic degree in German studies, and Sven as a successful master craftsman and trainer, had already set a firm path in life when they decided to write their first book in 2018.

It all started with the simple idea of making readers laugh while creating a captivating tension that would make the pages of a book just fly by.

Who could have even remotely guessed then that just five years later they can already look back on a proud 26 publications?

In the meantime, they both devote themselves full time to writing crime novels and are fully guided by their passion. As outspoken fans of series and book series of all kinds, the authors have set themselves high standards. A recurring trademark, which they find repeatedly highlighted in numerous letters from their readers, is the unpredictability of their stories.

Today, the couple, along with their daughter and a scurrying gaggle of pets, write and live near Berlin. Here they feel the pulse of the city as they put the lines of their exciting stories to paper. By now, the Svarlen Edhor duo has made a name for itself, leaving readers eagerly awaiting each new work.
