Ron Miller

Ron Miller, a disabled, twenty-seven-year army veteran, spent most of the 1980s and 90s in Germany. While wandering throughout the countryside, observing the beautiful castles and listening to the haunting tales from the local storytellers, an idea for a book started forming in his mind.

It wasn't until learning of his family's involvement in the 1488 Battle of Saint-Aubins-du-Cormier, in central France, that he realized this was the core event needed to launch his series. Drawing upon his own experiences and from people near him, words started flowing until he had created not only one book, but three.

These books are the kind that a man or woman can sit back with a cup of coffee, tea, hot chocolate - or even Three Fingers of Irish Whiskey, and bury themselves into their words. Although all three books can be read as a continuous series, each can be read as a stand-alone. With these days of turmoil, it gives you either an exciting quick read or a chance to bury yourself in a binge of excitement.

The characters' fears, loves, and hatreds come to life as you chase them across the battlefields, dine with Czar Ivan and explore Moscow, sail the warm waters near Athens, and prepare to face the terrifying witch, Valkyrie, and her 200,000 mercenaries.

Book number three, "From the Flames of Cimbri", takes us into the personal lives of Cimbri's leaders and their bonding with the people of Denmark.

As the revenge filled Valkyrie draw nearer, we see the cracks of unity start to split as jealousy raises its ugly head.

Romance comes to the least expected, and births bring unexpected problems. Be amazed by who steps forward in a time of desperate need. Follow these turbulent personal events as they mix within the final battle!

For a complete change, I've written an exciting murder mystery called "Chasing Shadows". It takes us to Liverpool, England during the early 1800's. A shadowy character named, "The Chameleon" has been bringing death to some of England's retired military officers.

Daniel Barton , a security agent from White Hall, is recalled from a choice assignment to hunt him down. This isn't as easy as he thought! When a woman is found dead, slain in the identical style as the others, it sends him on a winding and frustrating path. It's as if he was Chasing Shadows!
