I am an inventor and an investor trained in applied mathematics and finance. It was probably not until I turned 16 that I wrote something longer than an article - it was a story about the leaders of two warring nations left standing on an ultimate day of doom. It received some attention and won a contest - but I think I had a hidden aspiration to turn it into a Bollywood script, which never happened.
These days I spend more time absorbing information than actually expressing ideas. I had published several technical articles during my years as a scientist - tracked by Google scholar. My writing is now largely limited to pieces on Finance and Business, for private circulation via my firm's newsletters. "Better Than Wealth Tax" is my first book, and a synthesis of ideas that were brewing in my head. It was also an exercise in reaching a broader audience, while laying out a serious proposal.
