B. Lawrence Goldberg

B. Lawrence Goldberg was born in Brooklyn, New York. Over an erratic but interesting life, Goldberg has taught Philosophy at the University of Colorado, been a union organizer; headed a state teachers’ organization; been Assistant Editor in the Film Division of Grove Press in New York; served as a Research Associate in the Council for Biology in Human Affairs at The Salk Institute in La Jolla, CA; worked in the Educational Technologies Department at the internet pioneer BBN Systems and Technologies in Cambridge, MA; and founded Co-nect, a small educational training company. Bensonhurst, his first novel, is based in part on his early life growing up in Brooklyn. He, his wife Noel and their dog Kaia, live in the beautiful seacoast town of Newburyport, MA.
