Jackie Perry

Jackie Perry is a North Carolina licensed clinical mental health counselor, speaker, educator and doctoral candidate in counselor education and supervision. While she just might have a few more gray hairs after working with adolescents and families for over 25 years, she considers herself blessed beyond measure to be given the privilege of supporting and encouraging people during this critical yet challenging season in development. She geeks out on neuroscience research as well as books about soul care, families, and relationships. Not surprisingly, a perpetual stack of books remain on her nightstand and on side tables around her home She finds deep joy in practically integrating knowledge gained into her work as a counselor, speaker, and teacher.

When Jackie isn't spinning plates, you’ll find her dreaming about the next thing, hanging out with family or friends, gazing at a marvelous mountain view, or sipping a cup of chai latte and snuggling with her caramel colored mini-goldendoodle. She married her college sweetheart, John (Go Duke!), and together they have reared three very different yet amazing children. She currently resides in Asheville, North Carolina.
