Derek Haas is a world traveler by choice and an author by accident. His stories come from his own travels and the wisdom of people he has met across the world while living in the United States, France, and New Zealand

His work is a refreshing look at old wisdom, simple by nature. Derek seeks to have a conversation rather trying to dictate learning. His stories are an example of how life experiences can teach us how to see, experience, and learn.

Derek currently lives in Ohio, but can be found just about anywhere on the weekends chasing after new experiences. He is currently seeking to visit one new country every year, in addition to visiting old friends in familiar places.
