I am Amy Croushorn, party stylist and editor of Amy’s Party Ideas. I’m a boy mom, a stylist, photographer, book author (eek! a dream come true!), brand ambassador, and in my former profession; a licensed interior designer. I thrive on having friends and family in my home and have a true passion for entertaining.

My passion for parties began back when I was only an interior designer (the days of only one job…) and my son was turning three. His 3rd birthday party turned into an all out, swashbuckling gala complete with tattered sails for tablecloths, personalized handmade pirate tunics for each child, and a low country boil for our 35 guests. That night as we watched the home video from the party, my little one looked up at me with his big brown eyes and said, “Mommy, can we do it again tomorrow?” I knew I was hooked forever.

Along the way, I learned how to build a website, how to take my own photographs, and how to capture the ideas I come up with so you can create something just as special on your own! We never want to miss an opportunity to celebrate and enjoy the company of those we surround ourselves with as we walk through this life.
