Jacob Eisenstein

Jacob Eisenstein is a researcher and teacher of natural language processing, a research field with the goal of enabling computers to understand and produce human language. Jacob's work emphasizes connections from natural language processing to machine learning and computational social science. His textbook on natural language processing is a synthesis of years of teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level at Georgia Tech, where he joined the faculty in 2012. Jacob is currently a research scientist at Google, and retains an adjunct appoint at Georgia Tech.
